Tony Simmons – My Story

For most of his professional career, Simmons has worked to help people become successful. In his twenties, he worked for a high school equivalency program helping people who had dropped out of high school obtain their GEDs. He ran employability and life skills training sessions that assisted them in starting careers in banking and managed the counseling staff. He then moved into corporate human resources and rose to director of human resources. During that ten year period Simmons ran the organization’s college relations program, managed employees on overseas assignments, started an outplacement office and dramatically increased the number of women and minorities in technical and leadership positions.
Simmons then became a co-founder of a consulting firm specializing in diversity and inclusion and human resources consultation. He guided his clients in creating inclusive work environments thereby creating success and equity for all employees. After the sale of that organization, Simmons founded his current organization which focuses on online marketing. After seeing many people lose their jobs due to the COVID 19 virus, he decided to assist some of those people in starting careers in online marketing.
